Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has brought a big good news for people planning to build their house or invest in business activities in Uttar Pradesh. The authority has started the official process of Mega E-Auction for the sale of residential and commercial plots at prime locations in many major cities of the state. The most special thing about this scheme is that the entire auction process will be 100% online and transparent, so that common citizens and investors will be able to buy the plot of their choice by bidding directly without any middleman or agent. To give a chance to more and more applicants, the authority has also released a new schedule of dates.

Residential and commercial plots are available in these cities

Under this ambitious scheme of UPSIDA, land is being made available in major industrial and urban centers of the state:

• Prayagraj: Residential plot in the state-of-the-art ‘Saraswati Hi-Tech City’ of the historical city of Prayagraj.

• Unnao: Residential plots in the industrially developing ‘Transganga City’.

• Barabanki and Hardoi: There will be auction of fully equipped residential plots in both these fast growing districts also.

• Gautam Buddha Nagar (Greater Noida/Noida Area): To promote business activities, commercial plots for the construction of banquet halls have been put in e-auction.

UPSIDA e-Auction 2026: Note these important dates

If you want to participate in this mega e-auction, take special care of these key dates set by the authority:

• Starting date of registration and document download: 9 July 2026 (from 10:00 am)

• Last date for submission of catalogue, processing fee and EMD: 4 August 2026 (by 6:00 PM)

• Last date for uploading/submission of online documents: 5 August 2026 (by 6:00 pm)

• Date of Online E-Bidding: 7 August 2026 (10:00 am to 1:00 pm)

What will be the process of plot allotment?

According to UPSIDA officials, transparent allotment of industrial and commercial plots is being done through the ‘Nivesh Mitra Portal’ and the authority’s dedicated e-auction portal. Applicants interested in bidding will first have to register themselves by visiting the online e-auction portal. Only registered users will be able to participate in the online bidding process to be held on August 7 by depositing the processing fee and earnest money (EMD). The main objective of this process is to speed up planned urbanization and industrial development in the state.
