India's international masterstroke, big deal with Iran put oil in the stomach of China-Pakistan


New Delhi, Tehran: Indian Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal reached Tehran today (Monday) to hand over the administration of Iran's strategically important Chabahar port to India for the next 10 years, especially to broker an agreement between India and Iran. In this regard, India's Foreign Minister Jaishankar said that apart from this, the long-term administration of Chabahar will also be considered.

Union Ports, Shipping and Waterways Minister Sonowal today (Monday) reached Iran in a special Air Force aircraft and signed an agreement with Iranian authorities to manage the ultra-strategic natural port of Chabahar for 10 years. The importance of this port is that through it India will be able to trade freely with Afghanistan and Central Asian countries, keeping Pakistan aside.

Regarding this S. Jaishankar told reporters in Mumbai that the tea export port is not only important for India strategically but also from a trade point of view. With this, India will be able to easily send its goods to Afghanistan and Central Asian countries by keeping Pakistan aside. And the goods there can be easily obtained.
