Giridih, 6th May (HS). A total of 15 candidates are in the fray for the Koderma parliamentary seat to be held on May 20 after the last date for withdrawal of nominations ended on Monday. This includes Annapurna Devi from BJP, Vinod Kumar Singh from CPI(ML), Kaidar Ravidas from BSP and others.
Similarly, a total of 11 candidates are in the fray in the Gandey Assembly by-election on 20th May. These include JMM's Kalpana Murmu Soren, BJP's Dilip Verma and others. This information was given in a press conference organized by District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Giridih Naman Priyesh Lakra and Gandey Vishwas Electoral Officer Ghulam Samdani on Monday. The above said that all preparations are being made for voting on both the seats in a peaceful atmosphere on May 20.
