Two dead bodies found in different police station areas of Kanpur

Kanpur, 06 May (HS). Two dead bodies were found on Monday in different police station areas of Kanpur Commissionerate. When the bodies could not be identified, the police filled out the Panchnama and sent them for post-mortem.

DCP South Ravindra Kumar said that Naubasta police received information that the body of a person was lying under the under-construction metro station in front of Baroda UP Bank branch Hanspuram in the police station area. On this information, Inspector-in-charge Naubasta May of the police force reached the spot and collected information for identification of the body, but the body could not be identified.

Similarly, a dead body was found in Bithoor police station area. ADCP West Vijayendra Dwivedi said that information about an unidentified dead body was received in Maqsoodabad. When the police team reached the spot, they found the body of an unknown person on the vacant plot next to Rinku Shuttering in front of Maqsoodabad Panchayat Bhawan. Forensic team was also called in the case. After investigating the spot, the body was not identified and was sent for post-mortem.

Local people could not tell anything about the identity of the deceased, but it was definitely told that for the last two-three days, he was roaming around the liquor vend under the influence of alcohol, but no one knew about his origin. There is no information.
