For the T20 World Cup 2024, 20 teams have been divided into 4 groups of 5 each. The top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the Super 8. Indian team is in Group A. Apart from India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and America are also included in this group. Whereas, the Australian team is in Group B. Apart from them, England, Namibia, Scotland and Oman are also included in this group.

India will play its group stage matches in the United States and begin their campaign against Ireland on June 5. Super-8 matches will be held in Caribbean countries.
