A tourist bus met with an accident in neighboring country Pakistan on Friday morning. A bus going from Rawalpindi to Hunza fell down a mountain slope on Karakoram Road, killing 20 people. While 15 people have been injured. A terrible bus accident took place in Dimer district of North-West Pakistan. The driver of the tourist bus lost control of the steering and the bus fell straight into the valley. Due to which the passengers traveling in the bus met with an accident.
On getting information about the incident, local people and police went to the spot and took action. 15 injured were admitted to the local hospital for treatment. When an attempt was made to take the dead to the hospital for post-mortem. Three women are also among those who died in this accident. The accident was so horrific that the death toll is likely to increase. Because the condition of the injured is serious. Local police said that the injured have been taken to the hospital and rescue operations are underway.
Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan expressed grief over the accident and directed the administration to provide immediate medical care to the injured. Apart from this, due to the accident, medical emergency was declared in the nearby government hospital. So that the injured can get complete treatment as soon as possible.
