Hamirpur, 30 April (Hindustan Reporter) As the heat rises, the election campaign for Hamirpur-Mahoba-Tindwari seat is also gaining momentum. With a Brahmin candidate becoming the mahout of an elephant for the first time in the election field, there are chances of a triangular contest here. Whereas the candidates of Indi alliance are busy in spoiling the electoral arithmetic of BJP and BSP. At present, in the electoral arena, all three party candidates are checkmating each other. This time the election battle will be triangular.
Hamirpur-Mahoba-Tindwari parliamentary seat consists of five assembly constituencies. Among these, Kshatriya and Brahmin voters are considered decisive in Hamirpur and Tindwari assembly constituencies. Whereas in Rath and Charkhari assembly constituencies, maximum number of Lodhi voters play a big role in spoiling the electoral mathematics of any candidate. If the Lodhi voters in these two assembly constituencies are swayed by caste, then BJP may face a big blow. In Mahoba too, apart from BJP, BSP and Indi alliance candidates are trying to outdo each other in the election campaign.
The Scheduled Caste population in this parliamentary constituency is 22.63 percent, which will play a decisive role in the victory. This time, Pushpendra Singh Chandel from BJP is contesting for the third time, who had become MP in the year 2014 and 2019 with the equation of voters from 12.83 percent Kshatriya, 10.33 percent Brahmin, 2.66 percent Vaishya and other communities.
For the first time, candidates of BJP, BSP and Indi alliance contested from the same area.
This time the BJP and Indi alliance has established prestige on the Lok Sabha seat-47. To give a blow to BJP, BSP has fielded a Brahmin face for the first time. BSP candidate Innocent Dixit is making noise in the election battle on caste equations while SP in alliance with Congress has fielded Ajendra Singh Rajput from Lodhi community. The special thing is that BJP candidate Pushpendra Singh Chandel and BSP and Indi alliance candidates are residents of Mahoba district of the parliamentary constituency and all three candidates are also breaking into each other's strongholds.
To spoil the electoral equations of BJP in the parliamentary constituency, for the first time, innocent Dixit from Brahmin community has been made its candidate, who is working hard to garner caste votes apart from the base vote of BSP. Apart from this, Ajendra Singh Rajput of Lodhi community is the alliance candidate of Congress and SP who is trying his best to unite the Lodhi voters. There are about thirteen percent Lodhi voters in the parliamentary constituency, while 6.66 percent are Yadav and 9 percent Muslim voters. Due to which there is uneasiness in BJP due to the speed of cycle of Indi alliance. This time there will be a triangular contest here.
