Crackdown on unauthorized private hospitals will be tightened

Jaipur, 22 April (HS). The Medical Department will run Operation Black Thunder to take action against unauthorized private hospitals in the state. For this, all Joint Directors, Zones have been appointed as nodal officers at the divisional level. Also, a committee will be formed for this operation at the district level.

Additional Chief of the Medical and Health Department, Shubhra Singh, said that the department had received complaints about such unauthorized private hospitals being run in the state, in which there is not even a single allopathic doctor and by running them arbitrarily, the lives of the common people are being played with. Used to be. The medical department will take strict action against such hospitals. For this, Operation Black Thunder will be run across the state.

Singh said that all joint directors of zones at the division level have been made nodal officers for this operation. Also, committees are being formed at the district level to inspect such unauthorized hospitals. This committee will include the Chief Medical and Health Officer and District Drug Officer of the concerned district.

Public Health Director Dr. Ravi Prakash Mathur said that this committee will inspect unauthorized private hospitals running in the concerned district. If any hospital is found running without an allopathic doctor or is found violating other rules, then action will be taken against them under various sections of IPC and IMA. The committee will send a report in this regard to the concerned Joint Director every month. Joint Director Zone will send this information to the Medical and Health Directorate by the 5th of every month.
