Political message before 2027 Assembly elections Legislative Council graduates and teacher elections are always considered a barometer of the political mood of the intellectual class, teachers and educated youth. These results have made it clear that while BJP’s organizational hold in the teacher class remains strong, Samajwadi Party has been successful to a great extent in capitalizing on the issues of unemployment, restoration of old pension (OPS) and employment on graduate seats. Both the parties have started presenting these results as a positive environment in their favor before the upcoming 2027 assembly elections.
