Lucknow, 29 October. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, through social media platform ‘X’, informed the people of the state about the unprecedented increase in road, rail, metro and air connectivity after 2017. He said that the mantra of speed, scale and connectivity has changed the face of Uttar Pradesh.
The situation was pathetic before 2017
The Chief Minister wrote that road, rail and air connectivity not only reduce distances, but also bring convenience, time saving and new possibilities of prosperity, but before the year 2017, the condition of these lifelines of development in Uttar Pradesh was extremely pathetic.
‘Pradesh Ki Udaan’ reaches new heights
The Chief Minister wrote that under the successful guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double engine government has changed this picture with the mantra of speed, scale and connectivity. Before the formation of BJP’s double engine government, there were only one and a half expressways in the country’s most populous state. Today there are 10 expressways operating in the state. At that time air services were limited to select cities, but today the state’s flights from 12 domestic and 5 international airports are at new heights. At that time metro did not run in even a single city of the state. At the same time, today Metro is giving new pace to life in 7 cities.
The pace of development is changing the lives of citizens.
The Chief Minister said that with this change, farmers’ produce is getting a bigger market and entrepreneurship is getting new opportunities. Access to education and employment is becoming easier for the youth. Working people are saving time. Tourism is also expanding, which is giving new strength to the livelihood of local families. This pace of development is changing the lives of citizens today from village to town and from town to city. Opportunity to every sector, strength to every enterprise and increasing prosperity in the life of every family is the new identity of ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ of ‘New India’.
