Tiger Shroff Firing: Tiger Shroff seen bandaged, glass and gunpowder wounds on his hands; Deputy CM Eknath Shinde met after the firing

Bollywood is once again shaken by the terror of the underworld and gangsters on the streets of Mumbai. There was panic in the entire city after the indiscriminate firing by unknown assailants riding a bike on the car of Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff in suburban Juhu on Sunday evening. A few hours after this sensational incident, the first picture of the actor has surfaced, in which a white bandage is seen tied on his left hand. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde himself reached Tiger Shroff’s residence and met him and his mother Ayesha Shroff and inquired about their well-being. Shinde has warned in clear words that no gang war or hooliganism will be allowed to rise in Mumbai and the attackers will get a strict reply in the language of law.

This fatal attack took place near Pushpa Parsi Park in Juhu at around 7 pm on Sunday evening when Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club in his BMW car. Three masked shooters who came on a motorcycle fired at least 5 to 7 rounds targeting his vehicle.

According to official statements from the hospital and police:

  • Tiger Shroff’s condition: Mumbai Police (DCP Mohit Garg) and doctors have confirmed that Tiger has not suffered any gunshot wound. He suffered minor scratches and wounds on his left hand and body due to the flying glass shards and gunpowder splashes from the car as the car window broke, which was bandaged after first aid.

  • Driver and pedestrian injured: The Tiger driver was shot in his left hand in the attack, who has been admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle and is out of danger. There is news of a pedestrian named Umesh Charan, who was passing near the spot, being shot in the chest and is undergoing treatment at Cooper Hospital.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who reached the actor’s house after the incident, said while talking to the media that this is a very serious and condemnable act. Shinde said, “I have met Tiger and his mother. Both are shocked and traumatized by this incident. Tiger’s left hand has been injured by glass and gunpowder. We have assured the family of complete security. Just as the Mumbai Police ended gang wars in the 1990s, in the same way today too no gang will be allowed to disturb the peace of Mumbai. The police will find the attackers and they will be given a reply in their own language.” Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also spoken to the Police Commissioner and ordered a prompt investigation into the matter.

Soon after the attack, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, alleged foreign-based gangsters associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi Syndicate, claimed responsibility for the firing through a post on social media. The post alleged that Tiger Shroff was warned not to work with superstar Salman Khan, which he ignored, leading to the attack. However, Mumbai Police has said that the social media claims are being technically and forensically investigated and cannot be considered official without verification.

The actor’s father and the team of veteran actor Jackie Shroff have issued a statement assuring fans that Tiger is completely safe and is cooperating with the investigating agencies. After the incident, many Bollywood stars including actress Disha Patani also reached Tiger’s residence. Juhu Police and Crime Branch have sealed the entire area and formed 15 special teams. The police have detained a suspicious person from Santa Cruz area and started questioning them and the footage of more than 50 nearby CCTV cameras is being scrutinized.
