
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the admit card (e-call letter) of the Computer Based Examination (CBT) to be conducted for recruitment to 119 posts of Section Controller under Centralized Employment Notification (CEN 03/2026). The examination will be conducted on 12 and 13 October 2026 at various designated centers across the country. Candidates who had successfully applied for this post can apply through the official websites of their respective Regional RRB or Central Recruitment Portal. rrbapply.gov.in You can download your hall ticket by visiting. The exam city intimation slip had already been issued by the board, after which now the e-call letters with detailed exam centers and shift timings have been made live.
The format of the first stage CBT exam of RRB Section Controller will be as follows:

Total Questions and Marks: A total of 100 objective multiple choice questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam.

Time period: Candidates will be given total time of 120 minutes (2 hours) to solve the question paper. Disabled (PwBD) candidates will get additional time as per rules.

Negative Marking: Negative marking of one-third (1/3rd) marks will be applicable in the examination. One third mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Next Steps of Selection: Candidates who are successful in this CBT exam will have to go through the next stage i.e. Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.

Enter your Registration Number and Password (Date of Birth) in the login window.

Fill the captcha code displayed on the screen and click on ‘Login/Submit’ button.

Your admit card will be displayed on the screen. Carefully match the name, roll number, exam date, shift and address of the exam center given in it.

Take out at least two clean printout copies of the admit card for future reference and to carry to the examination centre.
Railway Recruitment Board has instructed all the candidates to follow strict safety rules:

Original Identity Card Mandatory: It is mandatory to bring a valid original photo identity card (like original Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport or Driving License) along with the printout of the admit card for entry into the examination centre. Photocopy of identity card or photo taken in mobile will not be valid.

Biometric Authentication: Mandatory Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication of all candidates will be done before entering the examination centre.

Banned Items: Carrying any kind of electronic device, mobile phone, Bluetooth device, smartwatch, calculator or written material is strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

Reporting Time: No candidate will be allowed to enter the center after the gate closing time, hence ensure to reach the center before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
