PM Kisan 24th Installment: Farmers should complete 3 important tasks today, otherwise ₹ 2000 coming into their account will get stuck.

Administrative preparations have intensified to transfer the next financial assistance of ₹ 2,000 to the accounts of crores of small and marginal farmers of the country under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare of the Central Government has given clear instructions that this time the installment will be paid through DBT only to those registered farmers whose records are completely verified digitally. Intensive automated audit of the database is being conducted to weed out fraud and ineligible beneficiaries in the scheme. If even one of the 3 required formalities is found lacking in a farmer’s account, the system will automatically block the payment.

Completion of e-KYC is the first and most basic condition for every farmer registered on PM Kisan Portal:

  • OTP Mode (OTP Based e-KYC): If the farmer’s Aadhar card is linked to the active mobile number, he can register on the official portal. pmkisan.gov.in You can complete it for free by going to ‘e-KYC’ option and entering OTP in 2 minutes.

  • Biometric Mode: Farmers whose mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar can go to the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and get verification done through biometric fingerprint scan.

  • Face Authentication (Face RD App): Now farmers can complete the e-KYC process by scanning their face sitting at home on PM Kisan mobile app.

Under the scheme, only those farmers get the benefit in whose name the legal record of cultivable land is registered:

  • Verification of the farmer’s Khatauni/Jamabandhi records is done on the portal by the state revenue department.

  • Farmers should go to their ‘Beneficiary Status’ and check that Land Seeding green tick in front of or YES Is it written or not?

  • if there NO is being displayed, then the farmer will have to immediately contact the Agriculture Coordinator or Tehsil office of his block with a copy of the latest Khatauni, Aadhaar card and bank passbook of his land and get the land records linked.

Many times farmers have open bank accounts, but government subsidy money is not credited into them:

  • Government is no longer directly based on bank account number, but Aadhaar Based Payment Bridge (ABPS) Sends money through.

  • For this, it is mandatory for the farmer’s bank account to be mapped to the server of National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) and to be Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) enabled.

  • If the bank account has become inactive or does not have Aadhaar seeding, the farmer should immediately visit his bank branch and submit the ‘DBT Consent Form’ or open a new DBT supported savings account in the post office (IPPB).

Before the installment is released, farmers can ensure from their mobile at home whether their account is fully eligible for the 24th installment or not:
