Commercial LPG Cylinder Price Hike: Just before the festive season, commercial gas cylinders become expensive, know the new rates from Delhi to Patna.


With the beginning of this holy season of big festivals like Navratri, Dussehra and Diwali across the country, hotel, restaurant and food businessmen have faced a big blow of inflation. Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have announced that from today i.e. 1st October 2026 only 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder (Commercial LPG Cylinder) prices have been increased. Commercial gas cylinders have become costlier by ₹ 62.50 to ₹ 71.50 in different cities. However, it is a matter of relief for the general public that 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder There has been no change in the prices and they remain at their old level.

Based on the international market trend and local taxes, oil companies have issued revised rates for 19 kg commercial cylinders. Today’s latest prices in major cities are as follows:

  • New Delhi: Now the price of commercial cylinder in the capital Delhi has increased by ₹ 62.50. ₹2,810.00 (Previous price was ₹2,747.50). Whereas domestic cylinder is stable at ₹ 942.00.

  • Patna (Bihar): Commercial cylinder becomes costliest by ₹71.50 in Patna ₹3,100.50 ₹ 1,031.50, while the domestic cylinder remains at ₹ 1,031.50.

  • Mumbai: New price of commercial cylinder in financial capital Mumbai ₹2,764.50 (Increase of ₹63.50). Domestic cylinder is stable at ₹941.50.

  • Kolkata: Here commercial cylinder becomes costlier by ₹ 70 ₹2,954.00 Has been done, whereas domestic cylinder is available at ₹ 968.00.

  • Chennai: Price of commercial cylinder increased in Chennai ₹2,983.00 (an increase of ₹66.50) and the domestic cylinder is at ₹957.50.

  • Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): Commercial cylinder in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh ₹2,932.50 And domestic cylinder is stable at ₹979.50.

Commercial LPG cylinders are mainly used by hotels, restaurants, dhabas, canteens and street food vendors. There is a huge increase in the demand for sweets and dishes during the festive season. At such a time, the increase in the price of commercial gas will increase the operating cost, due to which outside food, snacks and sweets can become expensive for hotel-restaurant operators.

Common families have got a big relief as the price of domestic 14.2 kg cylinder remained the same at ₹ 942 in Delhi, ₹ 1,031.50 in Patna and ₹ 979.50 in Lucknow. Along with this, the DBT subsidy received by the eligible beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) will continue to be transferred to their bank accounts as before.
