It is generally believed that after reaching the finale of a big national level beauty pageant, the participants get completely engrossed in the glamor of modeling, acting or glamour. Breaking this established perception, ‘Miss Universe India 2026’ finalist Umanga Kumawat has set an inspiring example in front of millions of youth. After making it to the top-20 representing Madhya Pradesh at the grand finale of Miss Universe India held in Jaipur, Umang returned to work as a cloud engineer at tech giant Google’s office in Bengaluru without any fanfare.
Umang shared a one-minute vlog (Day in My Life) of his normal working day on social media, giving a glimpse of his return from the ramp world to corporate life. This video of hers is becoming increasingly viral on the internet and people are praising her dedication and the balance of ‘beauty with brains’.

Lunch and break: During lunch at 2:10 pm, she chooses simple noodle soup and green vegetables from the dishes available in Google’s cafeteria.

Schooling and higher degree: After completing his schooling from St. Joseph’s School, Bhopal, he obtained a master’s degree in Computer Networking from the prestigious Atal Bihari Vajpayee-IIITM (ABV-IIITM), Gwalior.
