A 350 kg grizzly bear suddenly appeared on a narrow path in the forest.

The incident occurred when Colin set out on a mountain bicycle to explore hiking routes in the dense forest near Mount Dougie Dowler. On a narrow path they suddenly encountered a giant grizzly bear.

Instead of scaring or provoking the animal, Colin placed the bicycle between himself and the bear as a shield.
