Big shock to property buyers: Circle rates increased more than double in rural areas of Lucknow

On one hand, people have got relief due to change in weather, on the other hand, people who are dreaming of buying property or land in the capital Lucknow have got a big shock. Now buying agricultural land has become very expensive in rural areas of Lucknow. Taking a big decision, the district administration on Friday made a historic increase in the circle rates of rural areas of Lucknow by more than double. These revised and increased rates issued by the administration will be available in the coming days. 4 June 2026 It will be implemented compulsorily in the entire district.

Know which areas will be affected and why the rates were increased

This decision of the administration will have a direct impact on the outer and rural areas of Lucknow like Mohanlalganj, Malihabad, Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT) and rural areas falling under Sadar tehsil. In the recent past, due to large-scale infrastructure development, construction of outer ring roads and new highways in these areas, the buying and selling of land has increased rapidly. In view of this, the district administration has made a bumper increase in the circle rate to bridge the gap between the market rate and the government rate. After June 4, for land registration in these areas, consumers will have to pay more than double the amount as stamp duty as before, due to which the budget is sure to increase.
