Joint Admission Counseling Committee, Delhi (Joint Admission Committee – JAC) has officially started the process of online application and counseling for the academic session 2026-27.
Applications have been invited from eligible candidates for admission in five major technical universities under the Delhi Government. Interested and eligible students can register themselves online by visiting the official website of JAC Delhi, jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. The last date for applying, paying counseling fees and filling the choices of colleges and branches of your choice has been fixed as June 9, 2026.

This year, seats will be allotted in the following five premier universities of Delhi through Joint Admission Process (JAC):

Reservation rule: Since these five institutions are operated under the Delhi Government, out of the total seats available here 85 percent seats for local students of Delhi (Reserved for those who have passed 12th from Delhi). the remaining 15 percent seats outside Delhi Are kept for the students of.
Counseling will be done in four rounds, admission will be based on JEE Main score.
The entire process of admission under JAC Delhi 2026 will be conducted in a total of four main rounds. If seats remain vacant even after four rounds, further ‘spot round’ counseling will also be conducted.

Unlike JoSAA counseling for admission in IITs and NITs, it is not mandatory for general category students to have 75% marks in class 12th to join JAC Delhi. The eligibility conditions for different institutions are highly flexible and are as follows:
1. Rules for IIIT Delhi (IIIT-D):

The candidate must have passed minimum aggregate of five main subjects from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any recognized equivalent board. 70 percent marks are mandatory to obtain.
