These days, the fire raining from the sky in Uttar Pradesh has now become a reality not only for humans but also for the voiceless animals, birds and wildlife. A very emotional and heart-wrenching video that has surfaced from Hamirpur district of Bundelkhand has shocked everyone on social media. Here, amid the record-breaking heat of 46.2 degrees Celsius and the scorching heatwave, an innocent bat fell straight from a tree onto the scorching road. Anyone’s heart would tremble after seeing the condition of this voiceless creature. This incident is a living proof that this time’s record breaking heat is proving to be very fatal for our environment and voiceless creatures.
When innocent creature started suffering in Hamirpur court premises
On Thursday, the entire Bundelkhand area and Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh was burning like a furnace. Amidst this scorching heat, a very sensitive scene was seen inside the Hamirpur District Court premises. A mute bat could not bear the fire raining from the sky at noon and the gusts of hot winds. He became so distressed by the heat and severe dehydration that he fell straight down from the tree onto the hot concrete floor and started struggling between life and death.
Lawyers and complainants set an example of humanity
Seeing the bat writhing on the ground like this, the hearts of the lawyers present in the court premises and the complainants who came from far and wide were broken. Without wasting any time, people immediately showed humanity and gathered around that voiceless person. In the video going viral on social media, it can be clearly seen that advocates and common people together are sprinkling cold water from their water bottles on the suffering bat and trying to give it water drop by drop. People not only poured water on the bat, but also cooled the hot concrete road around it so that the voiceless animal could get some relief and save its life.

This tragic incident in the Hamirpur Court complex has greatly increased the concern of environmentalists, animal lovers and wildlife experts. Experts clearly say that due to rapid cutting of forests, drying up of natural water sources (rivers and ponds) and record breaking temperatures, birds flying in the sky and small creatures living on trees are continuously dying due to dehydration. He has also appealed to the general public to keep water pots in their rooftops and courtyards for the helpless birds.
