Meteorologist Naresh Kumar, while giving a relief news, said that the heat wave which was going on in the entire Himalayan region since last few days, may see some change from today. A new ‘Western Disturbance’ has become active in the mountains, due to which the effect of heat wave is expected to reduce in Jammu and Kashmir from today. However, the situation may remain a little hot in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand even today, but the temperature there will also drop in the next two days. On the contrary, the plain areas (Delhi, UP, Haryana) will have to bear the torture of this severe heat and ‘hot nights’ for the next one week. Doctors have advised all citizens not to go out in the afternoon without essential work and to keep the body fully hydrated.
