New Delhi. Wednesday morning brought a big relief for the people of Delhi-NCR. In the morning, heavy rain, thunder and storm hit the capital which was scorching above 40 degrees Celsius for many days. This rain, which came with winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, completely changed the weather and the atmosphere of the morning became pleasant.

Temperature will remain up to 38 degrees, yellow alert issued

According to India Meteorological Department i.e. IMD, today the maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be around 38 degrees Celsius and minimum 27 degrees Celsius. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for the day, warning of thunderstorms and strong winds in some areas.

Cyclonic circulation is the cause of rain

According to Mahesh Palawat of Skymet Weather, the active cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan, north-west Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana is the reason for this rain. This weather system is moving towards north and north-eastern India and is expected to remain active till April 30. As it moves further, it may also bring moderate rain and thunderstorm along with dust storm which is a normal phenomenon of pre-monsoon season.

Monday was the second hottest day of April, the night was also hot

It is noteworthy that the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 39.2 degrees on Tuesday, which was less than 42.3 degrees on Monday. Monday was the second hottest day of April. There was a sharp rise in night temperatures in the last few days and the first warm night of this season was recorded. Apart from this, pollutants were also washed away due to heavy rains, due to which the air quality of Delhi has also improved significantly.
