Download essential apps: First from Google Play Store ‘My eKYC’ And ‘Aadhaar FaceRD’ Install the app. (Note: Aadhaar FaceRD app works in the background for face scan).
Login and Verification: Open the ‘Mera eKYC’ app, select your state and enter your 12 digit identification number. An OTP will come on your linked mobile number, fill it and verify.
Face Scan (Face KYC): Now select the ‘Face e-KYC’ option given on the screen. Stand in a well-lit area and place the mobile camera in front of your face. Blink your eyes as instructed.
Success message: As soon as the system matches your face with the Aadhaar data, it will appear on the screen “KYC Success” The message will come.
Important Dates and Offline Options
Last date: The deadline for e-KYC may vary according to states. For example, by increasing it in states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar 30 April 2026 Has been done till now.
Biometric Options: If you are not able to do KYC through the app, then you can do it by going to your ration dealer (kotedar). e-POS machine But this process can also be completed for free by biometrics.
