News India Live, Digital Desk: The market of speculations is hot regarding the reshuffle in power in Bihar and the upcoming assembly elections. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and senior BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha has broken his silence regarding the face of the ‘next Chief Minister’. His statement has not only refuted the claims of the opposition but has also given clear indications regarding the future strategy within the NDA. Vijay Sinha has given a very balanced and ‘party line’ based answer to the questions asked regarding his name or any other face in the race for the post of Chief Minister.

‘I am not in the race, I am in the role of a servant’

During a conversation with a private news channel and during public events, Vijay Sinha made it clear that he has no personal ambition to become the Chief Minister. He said, “I am not a part of any race. My job is to serve the people of Bihar and being a dedicated soldier of BJP, I will fulfill whatever responsibility the organization gives me.” He completely rejected the news that he is a contender for the post of Chief Minister and said that he is currently working for the development of the state in the role of a ‘servant’.

What did Vijay Sinha say on the leadership of Nitish Kumar?

Talking about his relations with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his future leadership, Vijay Sinha appreciated his experience. He said that the leadership decision in NDA is taken collectively and currently the government is taking Bihar out of ‘Jungle Raj’ under the guidance of Nitish Kumar. However, on the rising demands from BJP workers to make him ‘BJP Chief Minister’, he only said that BJP is a big party and when the time comes, only the top leadership will decide who will take charge next.

Counterattack on Tejashwi Yadav’s ‘Public Debate’ challenge

In Bihar, along with the question of leadership, there is also political turmoil on the issue of development. Vijay Sinha has made a sharp counterattack on the recent challenge of ‘public debate’ given by Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav. He said that those who do politics of corruption and nepotism do not have the moral right to talk on development. While challenging, the Deputy CM said that the work of the NDA government is visible on the ground and the public will give a befitting reply to it in the 2026 elections.

‘Zero tolerance’ against corruption and mafia

Amidst the discussions about the Chief Minister’s face, Vijay Sinha is also seen to be very strict in his department (Mining and Geology). He has recently taken a historic decision to impose 25 times fine on vehicles coming from other states to stop illegal sand and mineral smuggling. Political experts believe that this ‘tough’ style and image of honesty of Vijay Sinha can establish him as a great leader in the future, even if he is currently publicly denying any claim for any post.
