First condition – Restoration of democracy: Sheikh Hasina’s biggest and first demand is to re-establish “participatory democracy” in Bangladesh. This means that such an electoral environment should be created in the country where all political parties get an equal opportunity.

Second condition – Ban removed from the party: His second important condition is to lift the ban on his party ‘Awami League’. Third condition – Fair elections: Sheikh Hasina has demanded a free and fair election in the country as the third condition. He says that unless the election process is transparent and inclusive, there is no point in his return.
