Does aloe vera plant dry up in winter? Follow these tips:

Aloe vera stores water in its leaves. Overwatering the plant can cause the roots to rot and the leaves to turn yellow or soft.

When the soil of the aloe vera plant becomes dry, add 2-3 inches of water to it. Then make sure that the water drains well from the pot.​

You can add sand, pumice, perlite to the soil of plants. Growing plants in terracotta or ceramic pots is also beneficial.

Aloe vera plants should be kept in a place where it gets sunlight for 5-6 hours.

If you move the plant pot from one place to another, take care that there is no sudden change in temperature.

Aloe vera does not require much fertilizer, but keeping it in the same pot for a long time can deplete the soil’s nutrients. Use a light, balanced liquid fertilizer once or twice a year.

Aloe vera is a hot climate plant. It may become weak at temperatures below 10°C. Keep it in a warm place in the house during the winter months.
