Bhopal. There may soon be some relief from the severe cold that has been going on in Madhya Pradesh for the last few days. The Meteorological Department says that no major weather system is active right now, and the western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir has also moved ahead. Due to the change in the direction of the winds, the effect of cold may reduce somewhat from Saturday, although the effect of cold wave may still persist in some cities.
Nights will become less cold after three days
According to the experts of the Meteorological Center, the weather pattern will remain almost the same for the next three days, but after that a gradual increase in the night temperature may be seen. Meteorologist Ajay Shukla said that right now the weather is completely dry.
However, due to an anti-cyclone over Rajasthan, the wind direction is changing. The winds are now becoming northerly as well as easterly at times. For this reason, people will start getting some relief from the harsh cold from Saturday. After two-three days, the wind direction is likely to be completely easterly, due to which the night temperature will increase further.
How was the weather on Friday?
On Friday, many cities including Bhopal, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Rewa and Jabalpur were in the grip of cold wave, while Indore was also affected by strong cold wave. The lowest temperature in the state was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius in Shivpuri.
