Cabinet meeting today! Will the decision be taken on the 21st installment of PM-KISAN? Know when ₹2000 will come to your account

Just before the results of Bihar Assembly elections, a big good news may come for crores of farmers of the country. A decision on the date of release of the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme can be taken in the cabinet meeting to be held today, i.e. on Wednesday, November 12.

Farmers hope that after the Bihar elections, the government can soon send the next installment of ₹2000 to their accounts. Earlier, the 20th installment of the scheme was released on August 2, 2025, under which ₹20,500 crore was sent to the bank accounts of 9.7 crore farmers across the country.

What is PM-Kisan Scheme?

PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is an ambitious scheme of the Central Government, under which financial assistance of ₹ 6000 is given every year to eligible farmers. This amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the farmers in three equal installments of ₹2000 each.

Who will get the money this time? 3 conditions are necessary

This time the money for the 21st installment will be available only to those farmers who have completed these three important tasks:

1. e-KYC: Have completed your e-KYC.
2. Aadhar-Bank Account Link: Aadhar card should be linked to the bank account.
3. Land Verification: Have got your land documents verified (Land Verification).

If you have not done any of these three things, your installment may get stuck.

Money has already reached these 4 states

Let us tell you that in some states, the money of the 21st installment has already been sent to the accounts of the farmers. This payment was made in advance to the farmers in flood affected Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand. Apart from this, farmers in Jammu and Kashmir have also received the money on October 7, 2025.

You can easily check whether your installment money will come or not sitting at home:

1. First of all go to the official website of PM-Kisan pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Click on the option of ‘Know Your Status’ on the homepage.
3. Enter your registration number or registered mobile number and captcha code.
4. As soon as you click on ‘Get Data’, you will know the complete status of your installment.
