In this accident, a young man has died due to drowning, while the remaining 8 friends have also been pulled out of the river in an unconscious state. His condition also remains critical and he has been admitted to the hospital.

Where and how did this accident happen?

This heart-wrenching incident took place in the Khudia river flowing between Hardhankuppi and Kali Pahari in Maithon police station area of ​​Dhanbad. According to the information, 9 friends living in the nearby Nirsa Gol Building area had gone to take a bath in this river on Wednesday afternoon. The age of all is said to be between 20 to 25 years.

It is being told that while having fun while bathing, a friend suddenly went into deep water and started drowning. His other companions also came forward one by one to save him, but due to the strong current of water and lack of knowledge of its depth, they also started drowning. Within no time there was shouting.

Fishermen became angels, but could not save one

Seeing the youth drowning in the river, some fishermen present nearby caught sight of them. He immediately jumped into the river without caring for his life. After much effort, the fishermen pulled out all the nine youths from the river. By that time it was too late.

All the youths who were taken out were in an unconscious state. He was immediately taken to a private nursing home in Nirsa, where doctors declared 25-year-old Golu Singh dead.

The condition of the remaining 8 is also critical.

The condition of 8 other youths who survived this accident also remains very critical. He has been referred to Shaheed Nirmal Mahato Medical College and Hospital (SNMMCH) in Dhanbad for better treatment. The names of these youth are Mohammad Sahil, Saddam Hussain, Saqib Ansari, Arif, Tausif, Moboshir and Salman Ansari.
