Competition among companies in IIM Ahmedabad, Mahindra and Adani Group become the biggest recruiters.

News India Live, Digital Desk: When it comes to selecting the best talent of the country, all the big companies have their eyes set on the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. Recently, IIM Ahmedabad successfully completed the second cluster of summer placements for the batch of 2025 of its flagship PGP (Post-Graduate Programme) course. This placement drive is proof that the country’s economy remains bright and companies are investing heavily in future leaders.

What is cluster placement?

At IIM Ahmedabad, instead of convening all the companies on the same day, they are divided into different groups or ‘clusters’, which come to the campus on different days. This process is more convenient for both students and recruiters. The second cluster was also one such day when many big companies from India and abroad had come to select students of their choice for summer internship.

Who provided the most jobs?

This year, Mahindra Group and Adani Group emerged as the biggest recruiters in Cluster 2.

• Mahindra Group Gave maximum internship offers to 11 students for different roles.
• right behind it Adani Group Who selected 10 students.
• Leading e-commerce company Amazon Also gave excellent offers to 9 students.

Apart from these, big Indian companies like Piramal Group, Jindal Steel & Power and Vedanta also provide internship opportunities to many students.

Which sectors were the first choice of students?

Several different sectors were popular among students in this cluster, the major ones being:

• Advertising and Media: Where students got roles in brand management and marketing.
• Consumer Electronics: Companies like Samsung hired from here.
• Consumer Goods and Durables: Big companies of FMCG sector participated.
• Engineering and Technology: Where there was demand for students with technical and management skills.

This successful placement drive not only reflects the caliber of IIM Ahmedabad students, but also signals how optimistic Indian industry is about the future and wants to attract good talent at any cost. Now all eyes are on the third and final cluster.
