Police station GRP Jhansi and RPF teams arrested two vicious thieves who were involved in theft in running trains and recovered 22 stolen Android mobiles, 1 yellow metal necklace, 1 mangalsutra, 2 rings and 2 earrings from their possession. The value of the recovered goods has been estimated at Rs 06 lakh 47 thousand.
As part of the campaign being run to prevent criminal incidents like theft, robbery and poisoning in trains, under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Railways, Jhansi Naeem Khan Mansuri, Inspector-in-charge Pankaj Pandey, joint teams of GRP and RPF, from the railway station Karari on April 1. 2 vicious thieves Sunil Rawat alias Govind Rawat, resident of Ghooghsi police station, Badauni district, Datia Madhya Pradesh and Ravindra Rawat, resident of Sonari police station, Karaira district, Shivpuri Madhya Pradesh, were arrested. 22 Android mobiles, 01 gold necklace, 01 Mangalsutra of yellow metal, 02 rings of yellow metal and 02 earrings of yellow metal were recovered from them. The case related to theft of recovered goods is registered in GRP Jhansi police station.
A total of 15 people were included in the recovery team including Sub Inspector Saheb Singh Police Station GRP, Uni Akhilesh Kumar Police Station GRP, Uni Jitendra Singh Yadav RPF Post Station, and Assistant Uni Naveen Kumar Detective Wing RPF.
