Homecoming or Delhi march? Important meeting between government and farmers today, where did the matter stop?

Farmer protest updates: Farmer organizations have once again taken to the streets to get their demands met. Demonstration of farmer organizations has been going on for the last few days regarding many demands including MSP law. Even though the police stopped the farmers who had set out to march towards Delhi at the Punjab and Haryana border, the farmers did not lose courage.

Fourth round meeting today

The fourth round of talks is to be held today between farmer organizations and the government. This is considered to be the most important meeting. According to sources, the government may announce a committee on MSP. For this, the government can also give proposals to farmers organizations in today's meeting. In today's meeting, farmer organizations can decide whether they will continue the call for march to Delhi or return home.

There is a demand that the government bring an ordinance

Farmer organizations will hold an important meeting with Union ministers on Sunday to resolve many issues. Earlier, Punjab Farm Union leaders on Saturday said the government should bring an ordinance to guarantee minimum support price (MSP) to farmers. Sarwan Singh Pandher, general secretary of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti, told reporters at the Shambhu border, “If the government wants, it can bring an ordinance overnight. If it wants to resolve the farmers’ protest then it should bring an ordinance.”
