Mata Prasad Pandey, senior politician of the state and former assembly president of the assembly, was stopped from going to Bareilly, on which he became very angry. Mata Prasad Pandey wanted to go to Bareilly, but the local administration stopped him from entering the city. Former speaker Mata Prasad Pandey raised strict objections to the administration to stop him. He questioned the officials that being an MLA, and as the former Speaker of the Assembly, can he order this by writing a letter to him? According to him, this action was a violation of the protocol and did not have respectable behavior with political personalities. He said that this is a kind of dictatorship where people are being prevented from walking according to their mind.
