He recently appointed Indian-American journalist Kush Desai as his Deputy Press Secretary, which is a proof of the increasing dominance of Indians in Trump administration.

Kush Desai has comprehensive work experience

Kush Desai is a young Indian-American who served as Deputy Director of Communications for the 2024 Republican National Convention and Director of Communications for the Republican Party of Iowa. He also worked as the Director of Deputy Battleground States and Pennsylvania Communications in the Republican National Committee.

Before joining the Republican National Committee as a research analyst, he worked as a reporter for 10 months at the Washington news website The Daily Caller.
