USA Los Angeles Fire News: Los Angeles, the bastion of the American film industry, has been devastated by a fire in the southern part of the state of California. The forest fire had been going on for a long time but winds with a speed of 100 to 160 km/hour played a big role in its spread. About 10,000 houses and buildings were burnt to ashes and there was a loss of more than 150 billion dollars. Fireballs are still burning in some areas. Efforts to control the fire are still going on but the fire has not been controlled.
Local officials are urging people to move to safe places. The cause of the fire is being investigated, but Los Angeles, the heartland of Hollywood, has suffered millions of dollars in damage. According to the information received, there has been heavy damage in the Palisades area located on the banks of the Pacific Ocean. Due to the fire, many historical buildings collapsed like a house of cards. When efforts are made to control the fire, incidents of fire keep happening at other places.
Even where the displaced people were given shelter considering it a safe place, there is no danger of fire. All the houses in the city of Malibu are burnt down and only black palm trees remain. Apart from the houses, five churches, a synagogue, seven schools, two libraries, some shops, bars, restaurants and a bank building were also burnt. Local 1920s landmarks, the Will Rogers Western Ranch House and the Topanga Ranch Motel, have also disappeared.
