The third Test of the Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia is going on at the Gabba ground in Brisbane. On Saturday, the first day of the match, India won the toss and invited the Kangaroo team to bat and decided to bowl themselves. India’s bowling attack was started by fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj.

The audience booed Siraj..!

As soon as Siraj came to bowl, the Australian spectators started booing him. This is because in the second test, he collided with Kangaroo batsman Travis Head, after which he was criticized a lot in Adelaide. Siraj was booed by the crowd at the Gabba due to his fight with Head.

What happened in Adelaide between Siraj-Head?

During the second Test against Australia in Adelaide, Siraj pointed towards the dressing room after dismissing Head. Hayden did not like this at all and while leaving he said something to Siraj. After this the umpire made a compromise between the two players. The ICC later reprimanded both players for misconduct and Siraj was also docked 20 percent of his match fee.

This happened to Virat many times

Let us tell you that Siraj is not the first Indian cricketer who has been booed. This has happened many times before with Virat Kohli. During the 2011–12 Australia tour, he had to face crowd protest at the Sydney ground for the first time. This happened again with Virat on Australian soil in 2018.

Virat was booed even during the England tour

Then when Virat was going to bat on the third day of the first Test against Australia in Adelaide, a section of the Australian spectators present in the stadium started booing him. Not only Australia, he also had to face such behavior of the crowd in the first Test match played at Edgbaston during the England tour in 2018.
