Kanpur, 13 December (Hindustan Reporter). Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSA) is continuously organizing seminars on the problems related to farmers and their solutions. In this sequence, a six-day training program is being organized from 16 December to 21 December 2024 under the Department of Plant Pathology at the Mushroom Research and Development Center of the University. Under this, people interested in mushroom cultivation can share information related to mushrooms.
Under the instructions of Dr. Anand Kumar Singh, Vice Chancellor of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, a 6-day training program is being conducted under the Department of Plant Pathology at the Mushroom Research and Development Center of the University. Dr. S.K. Vishwas, Nodal Officer of Mushroom Research Center said that this training program is a golden opportunity for any person (farmer, student or urban people) who wants to do mushroom cultivation or business. Because mushroom is a vegetable which can be grown even in a closed room, special attention has to be paid to its maintenance. That is why information from its cultivation to doing business will be given under one roof. After getting training from here, people can start farming of aster, button or milky mushroom.
It was further informed that in the training program which will last for six days, detailed technical advice will be provided to the trainees. Besides, various types of practicals on mushroom growing will also be conducted during the training. To be a part of this training, a person interested can register himself by depositing one thousand rupees, giving a passport size photograph and photocopy of Aadhar card. If the trainee has come from outside Kanpur, then there is no need to wander here and there for accommodation. He can also deposit the accommodation fee along with the registration fee. Along with this, in the special programme, a student, farmer, rural or urban person or man can become a part of this training. Besides, the person taking the training will also be given a certificate.
