Ranchi, 13 December (Hindu). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) OBC Morcha Jharkhand Pradesh organized a workshop at the State Office, Harmu regarding the membership campaign. The workshop was presided over by State President Dr. Amardeep Yadav. In the workshop, BJP State Working President Ravindra Kumar Rai appealed to connect the OBC category with the BJP and underlined their contribution in nation building.
Major targets were set in the workshop: BJP State Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh said that the target of the campaign starting from December 22 is 59 lakh members, in which OBC Morcha will make 5 lakh members. District workshops will be organized on 15-16 December and 515 workshops will be organized on 18-19 December. The target is to add 100 members at every booth by December 25.
Convenor Rakesh Prasad described it as an organization great festival and talked about connecting like-minded people from the OBC category. Whereas Dr. Amardeep Yadav said that Jharkhand government is not giving reservation to OBCs, against which the Morcha will agitate.
IT Cell Convenor Rahul Awasthi explained the process of online and offline membership. A large number of workers including State General Secretary Haldhar Narayan Shah, Vice President Dilip Swarnkar and other officials were present in the workshop.
