Khalistan flag case: Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, founder of Sikh for Justice, continues to spew venom against India. America, which claims to be a friend, has refused to provide information about the bank details and phone number of SFJ chief and Khalistan terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu.

Pannu, wanted in India on terrorism charges, has dual citizenship of the US and Canada. He has been declared a terrorist by the Home Ministry under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and several cases have also been registered against him.

14 August 2020 was the eve of Independence Day. In Moga, two people broke the security cordon and entered the district administration. Not only this, they hoisted the Khalistan flag on the rooftop and insulted the tricolor in the campus. The then SSP of Moga, Harmanbir Singh Gill said that both the people were captured in CCTV cameras. He did this work on Pannu’s request. Pannu offered him $2,500 for this work.

US officials declined to provide details

On September 5, 2020, the NIA again registered a case under multiple sections of the IPC and initiated talks with the US authorities. A Home Ministry source told the media that India started contacting them after the case was re-registered in the NIA. Meanwhile, the NIA reportedly found several bank account numbers and phone numbers linked to Pannu during its investigation. Whose details the agency sought from American officials. However, US officials refused to provide information, citing law enforcement concerns.
