Robert Lewandowski continues his excellent form and performances to become the third player to reach 100 goals in Champions League football, after Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina’s World Cup-winning captain Lionel Messi.

Erling Haaland has also continued his journey towards achieving this feat in the Champions League. Haaland, 24, scored twice for Manchester City against Feyenoord to take his tally to 46 in the Championship. Despite Holland’s brilliant performance, the match between Manchester City and Feyenoord ended in a 3-3 draw. Manchester City thus failed to win for the sixth consecutive match.

Lewandowski opened the scoring with a penalty in Barcelona’s 3–0 win over Brest City and also reached 100 goals in the Champions League. The Polish striker scored his 101st goal in injury time of the second half. Ronaldo has the highest number of goals in the league with 140 goals. Messi has 129 goals recorded in his name. The 36-year-old Lewandowski reached the special milestone in his 125th league match. Messi achieved this feat in 123 matches and Ronaldo in 137 matches. Dani Omo also scored a goal for Barcelona in the second half. Barcelona thus put an end to Brest City’s unbeaten campaign and reached second place in the points table.
