Shamlaji, 2 November (His). A devotee family offered gold paduka at Shamlaji temple in Aravalli district on Saturday on the occasion of Gujarati New Year. The price of Paduka is around Rs 30 lakh. The devotee is a resident of Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district.
On New Year, devotees gathered from early morning to have darshan of Lord Shamliya. Devotees started arriving as soon as the temple opened early in the morning. By 09 am, long queues of devotees were seen to have darshan of the Lord. Devotees from every corner of the state have reached here to visit Dev Gadadhar Shamlaji Vishnu Temple. Lord Kalia Thakor (Shamlaji) was beautifully decorated.
