Mirzapur, 19 October (HIST). There was silence in the Collectorate premises on Saturday, the second day of nomination for Majhwan Assembly by-election. No candidate nominated. Nomination is going on in the court room of Additional District Magistrate Land Revenue from 11 am to 3 pm. On Saturday, 10 people took forms for nomination. Till now a total of 22 people have taken the form. BSP and SP will nominate 24 candidates.
Under the direction of District Election Officer Priyanka Niranjan, RO SDM Sadar Gulabchandra and ARO BDO Pahari Munish Singh, Majhwan Sanjay Srivastava, Kon Ramshree are doing the work of getting the nominations done. On the second day of nomination, independent Pramod Kumar, Shyamlal from Azad Samaj Party, independent Anita Devi, Prakash Chandra Maurya from Rashtriya Janmat Party, Shivpujan from Rashtriya Samaj Party, Ram Bahal Singh from Bharatiya Awam Party National, Laxmi Narayan Kushwaha from independent, Samaj Vikas Kranti Party. Forms were taken from Radhika Singh from CPI, Lalta Prasad from CPI and Surendra Kumar from Indian Equality Party.
Before this, on the first day on Friday, Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Deepak alias Deepu Tiwari, Dr. Jyoti Bind from Samajwadi Party, Priya Singh from Indian National Samaj Party, Swayamvar from Pragatisheel Manav Samaj Party, Vishwa Kalyan Lal Chandra from Rashtriya Manav Samaj Party, Nationalist Congress Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Dwivedi from the party, Dheeraj Kumar Maurya and Prahlad from Azad Samaj Party and independents Ramvilas, Ram Lakhan, Mahesh Kumar and Kamlesh Kumar Pal had taken the nomination forms.
