Mumbai: Gold and silver prices continued to fall in the Mumbai jewelery market today. The new demand was Dimi. However, world market news showed disproportionate volatility. Meanwhile, gold prices fell by Rs 300 per 10 gram to Rs 78,000 from Rs 99.50 and Rs 99.90 to Rs 78,200 in the Ahmedabad jewelery market today.
Whereas in Ahmedabad, silver prices were quoted at Rs 1500 per kg and Rs 90500 per kg. It was reported that the price of gold in the world market ranged from 2626 to 2640 to 2641 dollars per ounce and from 2653 to 2645 to 2646 dollars per ounce. In the global market, silver prices ranged between $31.53 and 31.54 an ounce after hitting an intraday high of $31.77 an ounce, after rising from $31.00 to $31.19 to 31.20. In China, even after the government recently issued various stimulus to support the economy, government sources there said more stimulus is needed.
Due to this, the prices of silver, copper and platinum again went down in the world market. Global copper prices fell by 2.12 percent today. The price of platinum in the world market was $966. Palladium prices ranged from a low of $1010 to 1011 at $994 and a high of $1031 at $1017 to 1018.
Meanwhile, at the Mumbai bullion market, gold prices without GST rose from Rs 75,629 to Rs 75,303 at Rs 99.50, while gold at Rs 99.90 rose from Rs 75,606 to Rs 75,933 at Rs 75,726.
Whereas in Mumbai, silver prices without GST were Rs 91940 to Rs 90412. Meanwhile, huge fluctuations were seen in crude oil prices in the global market today. The price of Brent crude was 78.87 USD at a high of 81.14 USD and 78.91 USD at a low of 79.52 USD. US crude prices ranged from a high of $75.23 to $78.46 and a low of $75.15 to $75.74.
