Even if the consumer has used less electricity. After installation of prepaid meter, consumers will be able to use electricity as per their budget and requirement. This will provide relief to consumers from unnecessary electricity bills. When the consumer's recharge is over, the power supply will automatically stop after a certain time period.
However, keeping in mind the interests of consumers, UPCL has announced special discounts. Under this, if the recharge of the consumer ends and that day is Saturday or Sunday, then such consumers will get a bonus of two days. During this period power supply will not be interrupted.
Power will be restored in 15 minutes
The recharge process will also be very simple and fast. As soon as the consumer makes a fresh recharge, power supply will be automatically restored within 15 minutes. For this, there will be no need to call any electricity department employee to connect or disconnect the connection. This entire process will be conducted in an automated and digital manner, which will save both time and resources of the consumers.
