When is Ganeshji immersed?

According to the Panchang, Anant Chaturdashi will start on September 16 at noon and end on September 17 at noon. According to Udaya Tithi, Anant Chaturdashi Tithi will be celebrated on September 17. Bappa's idol will be immersed on this day. There will be 4 auspicious Chaughadiya Muhurats for Ganpati immersion on this day. It will be auspicious to immerse Ganpati Bappa in this Muhurta.

  • Chaturdashi Tithi starts – 16 September 2024 at 15:10
  • Chaturdashi Tithi Ends – 17 September 2024 at 11:44 pm
  • Morning Muhurta (Char, Labh, Amrit) from 09:11 to 13:47
  • Afternoon Muhurta (auspicious) – from 15:19 to 16:51
  • Evening Muhurta (Profit) – from 19:51 to 21:19

Ganesha Washing Ritual

  • Get up early in the morning, take a bath and wear clean clothes.
  • Clean the puja room.
  • Baptize the father.
  • Offer yellow sandalwood to God.
  • Offer flowers, rice, durva and fruits.
  • Perform Aarti with incense and ghee lamp.
  • Offer Modak to Lord Ganesha.
