A 40-member team of sugarcane farmers left for UP for research | News India


East Champaran, 09 September (HS). A team of 40 farmers left for the Sugarcane Research Council in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh on Monday for the interstate exposure visit cum training program under the Chief Minister Sugarcane Development Scheme-2024-25. Which includes 10 farmers from HGCL Sugauli unit area, 10 from Majhauliya unit area, 10 from Sindhwalia and 10 farmers from Gopalganj area.

All the farmers will stay at Uttar Pradesh Sugarcane Research Council Shahjahanpur for the next seven days and will get information about the latest farming of sugarcane. Giving this information, Deputy General Manager of Sugarcane of Sugauli Sugar Unit Sanjeev Kumar said that this team includes officials of sugar mills, Mr. Amarendra Singh from Gopalganj, Mr. Karan from Sindhwalia, Mr. Sudhir Mishra from Majhaulia and Vinay Kumar Singh of HPCL Sugauli.
