News India Live, Digital Desk: National Crime Records Bureau: According to a recent report by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), in the last 10 years, there has been a shocking bounce of 65 percent in our country cases of students suicides. And this bounce is much higher than the total cases of suicide. It is clear that somewhere, the pressure of studying, career or life is increasing on our children and they are finding themselves alone in facing it.

These figures are not just numbers, but it is a serious warning for our society. Every suicide means a young life whose abilities were lost, a family, who lost everything. When we see such a large number of our children taking such difficult steps, then we have to think about where we are missing. Education system pressure, family expectations, future concerns, and growing competitive environment in society – these are all factors that can affect mental health.

This report reminds us that we should create a safe and cooperative environment for our students, where they can share their problems openly. Along with studies, it is equally important to pay attention to their mental and emotional health. They have to understand that there is more important life than success, and there is definitely some solution to every difficulty. It is not just the government or schools, but of all of us, as a society, it is the responsibility to think seriously on this growing serious issue and give the right support to every child.
