A heart-wrenching incident has happened in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, where 3 out of 6 friends who had gone to take bath in Damodar river died tragically due to drowning. The remaining 3 friends were also taken out of the river in critical condition with the help of local people and divers.

While trying to save one, the other, and then the third, one by one all the friends started drowning.

Hearing the screams of the youth in the river, the people and sailors present nearby immediately ran to save them. He immediately took three youths out of the river, but by then they too had drunk a lot of water. His condition remains critical.

As soon as information about the incident was received, police from Mahuda and Baroda police stations also reached the spot and started a search operation with the help of divers. After hours of hard work, the bodies of the remaining three youths were also recovered from the river.
