5.8 magnitude earthquake in Pakistan, people’s lives in danger


Earthquake of 5.8 Magnitud Strikes Pakistan : While many countries have lost their citizens due to earthquake in the last one month, in Pakistan too, people have become hostage due to earthquake tremors. On the afternoon of 12 April, a powerful earthquake of 5.8 magnitude occurred in Pakistan.

According to Pakistan’s local media reports, the earthquake tremors were felt in many areas including Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attat, Chakwal, Punjab. Areas like Peshawar, Shabakadar and Mardan also received heavy rains. The epicenter of the earthquake was 60 km north-west from Rawalpindi.

It is noteworthy that on March 28 last month, there was a 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar. Thousands of people lost their lives in this. The earthquake in Myanmar also caused heavy damage in Thailand.
