Donald trump tariff news: 12 US states have challenged US President Donald Trump’s tariff policy in the US International Trade Court in New York. 12 states have told the court that Trump’s tariff policy is illegal and this is causing huge loss to the US economy.
The states that have challenged Trump’s tariff policy in court include Oregon, Erizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Main, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, New York and Vermont.
The states have told the court that the national trade policy has been left on Trump’s will. The states have requested the court to declare tariffs illegal and stop government agencies and their officials from implementing the policy.
