Zakir, with his wit and outspoken style, roasted the veteran Bollywood stars in front of them. Zakir’s target was on the historic success of the film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ (Dhurandhar 2) and the industry’s ‘pretentious’ attitude towards it. ‘Dhurandhar 2’, directed by Aditya Dhar, has shattered all the old records of Bollywood by earning more than Rs 1600 crore at the box office. Regarding this, Zakir Khan said from the stage, “No matter how many congratulatory posts you post, no matter how many Instagram stories you post and no matter how many interviews you call this your favorite film, the truth is that everyone is jealous of Dhurandhar.” Zakir further quipped that in the film, the bomb has exploded in ‘Lyari’ (the backdrop of the film), but its smoke is visible from Bandra to Juhu (where Bollywood celebs live).
